2002 Duck Dog

The MSHRC annual Duck Dog Championship was held on November 16, 2002 at Frank Crump’s farm in Coldwater, Mississippi. Once again, we dodged bad weather and enjoyed a crisp, clear day filled with club fellowship and challenging tests. At the end of the day, the best of the best were recognized with ribbons for qualifying performances, as well as trophies presented to those who placed in the top three of each stake. Traveling trophies were presented to those who placed first in each stake.

Thanks to all those who pitched in with a helping hand. As always, volunteers made this event possible and an enormous success.

Special thanks to Tim Nichols for bringing his grill, Lynn Briggs for rounding up the vittles, and Ray Butts and Dennis Akins for grilling heavens knows how many hot dogs and hamburgers! No one left hungry!!

Thank you to the Crumps for so graciously allowing us to hold our event on their farm. This location has become a tradition for our club.
